Patented Zoned Latex for Full Body Support

We built a better foam core. Using 100% GOLS organic certified natural Dunlop latex, our innovative, patent-pending foam makes waves. Literally. We cut the foam to create zig-zagging waves that reduce motion transfer and create targeted support. At the bottom and top thirds of the latex, the contours elongate to reduce pressure points in the shoulder and hips and allow for a more contouring shape. In the middle third, they tighten, for ideal spinal support.

Recycled Cotton Denim Scraps From Blue Jeans

We upcycle denim scraps — the byproduct from when all cotton denim jeans are cut — to create a support layer that is natural, breathable, and reduces waste. Our recycled denim pad is a high-performance thermoregulating material. So it isn’t stuffy, keeping your mattress airy and cool. It’s also free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which contribute to indoor air pollution. By upcycling this natural material, we prevent the denim scraps from ending up in the landfill.

We've fallen in love with this beautiful, durable fiber — one of the oldest cultivated plants in human history — derived from a blue flowering annual. It’s a hardy, renewable resource that grows with little water in even the harshest of environments. Flax seed fiber is inherently eco-friendly and hardy, requiring sunshine and almost no water to thrive. Ours is processed without chemicals and breathes naturally.

Recycled Plastic Bottles Made Soft & Beautiful

We use REPREVE® in the gentle cover of each Hybrid Latex Mattress. The material harnesses up to 57 ocean-bound plastic bottles per mattress to create a recycled polyester performance fabric. It’s durable, soft, and breathable. REPREVE® is used for activewear, swimwear, and outerwear — among brands like Patagonia®, Quicksilver®, and Toms® — and now mattresses. The effort reduces waste while repurposing single-use plastic bottles, buoying its functionality while preventing them from entering our waste streams and waterways.

Handmade In Los Angeles

We handcraft our mattresses in our own GOTS, GOLS, FSC®, and Fair Trade® certified factory just outside of Los Angeles. Most other mattresses are shipped from overseas, where environmental and social responsibility standards are minimal. Not ours. We make our own mattresses (few brands do this). And many of our craftspeople have been with us for more than 20 years!

The Hybrid Latex Mattress offers a medium feel. It rates as a 5 on a firmness scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the firmest).

Our hybrid mattress ticking features two luxurious layers: GOTS organic certified cotton quilted over a foundation layer and fiber stuffing made from REPREVE® recycled polyester, which utilizes up to 57 recycled plastic bottles (30%), and standard polyester (70%) sourced from Canada. We also use REPREVE® for the 6 reinforced handles (two on each long side and two on the foot). 100% GOTS Organic Wool:

Under the quilted cover ticking, we add a rich layer of naturally crimped 100% natural wool, sourced from India. No synthetic fibers or flame retardants are included. This wool has received GOTS organic and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certifications (19.HIN.68466, Hohenstein HTTI).

100% GOLS Organic Certified Natural Dunlop Latex:

For our core comfort layers, we feature 4-inches of GOLS Organic Certified Natural Dunlop latex sourced from India. The first 2-inch layer is contour cut with a patent-pending wave design, featuring three strategic zones. This layer is D65 (14-19 ILD) for a soft feel. It is layered over a second 2-inch layer of D75 latex (20-25 ILD) for deep, yet slightly firmer support. The latex latex has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (19.HIN.79546, Hohenstein HTTI): Class 1 certification, plus eco-INSTITUT®, FSC®, GOLS and Rainforest Alliance® certifications.

Flax Fiber Pad:

A thin GOTS organic certified natural flax fiber pad, sourced from the Netherlands, buffers and transitions between the comfort layers and the support layers of the mattress.

Pocketed Innerspring Unit:

Our 8-inch ActivEdge™ Quantum® Edge coil unit from Leggett & Platt® features up to 975 individually pocketed coils made from up-cycled steel in the United States, plus a reinforced perimeter. Coil Counts: Twin: 572, Twin XL: 681, Full: 727, Queen: 789, King: 975, Cal King: 958

Recycled Cotton Denim Pad:

A 1-inch layer of cotton, made from upcycled blue jean denim (80%), sourced from the cutting scraps during the original manufacturing process, plus a low-melt polyester binder fiber (20%). This layer provides a durable, breathable and supportive base layer, as a greener alternative to polyurethane foam.

We’ve reduced what we can — even powering our factory with 100% renewable energy — and we’ve officially offset 100% of the rest. Brentwood is an Avocado Green Brands business, all of which are Climate Neutral Certified. We are one of the only certified mattress and bedding brands in America.

eco-INSTITUT® - Latex

Based in Germany, the eco-INSTITUT is a label marking products that meet the strictest requirements for emissions and pollutants. The eco-INSTITUT label has been developed according to the latest standards defined by the organization.
Our natural latex rubber foam has been certified as a result of on-site inspection and comprehensive material lab and environmental testing. eco-INSTITUT verifies that our latex contains no harmful substances, no non-natural rubber content, and meets stringent standards for emissions (VOCs, formaldehyde, Acetaldehyde).

FSC - Latex

Natural latex comes from the Hevea brasiliensis tree. FSC® is considered the "gold standard" designation for resources harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.

GOLS Organic Certified

Our Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress uses GOLS Organic Certified latex. The Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS) ensures that products contain more than 95% of certified organic raw material based on total weight. The GOLS standard features permissible limits for harmful substances, emission test requirements and polymer and filler percentages. Our factory in Los Angeles is also a GOLS certified facility.

GOTS Organic Certified Materials

Free from harmful chemicals, our organic cotton and organic wool are certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). These renewable and sustainable resources are independently verified, and always ethically and responsibly sourced. They’re better for you as well as the people that grow it. We’re proud to use GOTS organic certified materials, and operate our own GOTS certified factory in Los Angeles. License #861640.

GREENGUARD Gold - Mattress

The Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress is completely GREENGUARD Gold Certified by UL Environment. That means it was scientifically tested in environmental chambers to meet some of the world’s most rigorous, third-party emissions standards for prolonged chemical exposure and pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, and phthalates.

Delivery times vary depending on your distance from our Los Angeles factory.
In general, shipping usually takes an additional 7-10 business days via FedEx and 2-3 weeks if you choose our White Glove service. Once your purchase ships, we’ll send you an email with tracking information so you can follow your shipment and plan for delivery.

Our mattresses ship roll-packed in a Brentwood Home-branded mattress box.

Optional White Glove Delivery for mattresses:
For an additional $249 per mattress, you can select our Premium White Glove Service through our delivery partner, AGS. This includes in-home delivery.
If you’d like to add removal of your old mattress to your Premium White Glove delivery, this is an additional $275 per mattress.
For most White Glove deliveries, you can expect to receive your mattress within 2-3 weeks from the date of order.
For Local White Glove deliveries in/around the Los Angeles and San Diego, California areas, you can expect to receive your mattress within 1-3 weeks from the date of order.
Once your order is ready to be delivered, AGS will contact you to schedule a day and time that is convenient for you.

Mattress Returns:
We offer a 1-year sleep guarantee with our mattresses. Sleep on your new mattress for at least 30 nights to allow your body time to adjust to the comfort and support of your new Brentwood Home mattress. If you decide the mattress isn’t the right one for you after 30 days, then we will schedule a pickup and provide a full refund. Read more about our mattress return policy.
